Jamaal Kinard
Executive Director (Lakeview Resident)
Jamaal Kinard is not just building programs — he is building possibility. As Executive Director of the Lakeview Neighborhood Alliance, he is leading a bold, resident-driven movement to transform Lakeview from a neighborhood navigating concentrated poverty into a coordinated ecosystem of stability, ownership, and opportunity. A proud resident since 2017, Jamaal champions LNA’s IMPACT model — Individuals Making Progress And Change Together — guided by a simple but powerful strategy: Engage, Educate, and Empower.
Through initiatives focused on Child & Family Stability, Prevention of Displacement, Economic Mobility, and Civic Awareness, he is working to ensure that growth does not happen to the community, but with it — and because of it.
As the founder of Conscious Leadership and architect of the LIVE GR8TLY Ecosystem, Jamaal’s vision extends beyond one neighborhood. He is designing a replicable neighborhood operating system — beginning in Lakeview, expanding through West Charlotte’s 1608 Coordinated District, and ultimately connecting communities nationwide who are committed to cultural preservation, economic interdependence, wellness, and family-centered governance.
Like the Blue Zones mapped longevity, Jamaal is mapping legacy.
At his core, he is a bridge builder — committed to creating spaces where people believe they are better off because of their community… and determined to help us all LIVE GR8TLY.
